If I missed anything, I’m sure y’all will let me know.
In July of 2007, I attended Transformus, which set off a chain of events leading me down a weird and meandering path full of inclusion, art, lots of fire, and a complete change of life. I found my tribe of weirdos and I haven’t looked back since. The 10 Principles became a foundation for my life moving forward and resonated within me in a way little else had in my life. My family and close friends became burners as my passion engulfed them, too. With a team of like-minded, passionate, burners who all felt the same need to share this amazing experience with others, we started The Hillbilly Burn, aka Reclaimation, in 2009. Over a decade later, with many regionals and events under my petticoats, and my love for the Principles and the culture they nurture is ever growing. I have been blessed to serve on the Flaming Hollow, LLC BOD for 11 years, Ranger and Gate Lead for 8 years, and an overall poker and prodder of the herd of ferrets I’m continually trying to corral. I’m also a new Regional Contact for Kentucky and look forward to meeting and interacting with you all!
